Zeolite Water Filter Media is one of the water filter media that has a function to reduce ammonia and lime in water.

One of the functions of zeolite in reducing ammonia is used for filtering wastewater, where the ammonia content is very high.

Even for ornamental fish aquarium needs, zeolite is very good because it can absorb excess ammonia content from fish waste.

While zeolite sand to reduce hardness, it works by way of ion exchange process towards Ca2+.

Hard water that contains a lot of lime content can be neutralized using zeolite using a softener tube
